Dr Dimitrios Kanoulas (PI)Dr Dimitrios Kanoulas (co-I) is Lecturer in Robotics and Computation at the University College London (UCL), Department of Computer Science. Before joining UCL, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology for 5 years and obtained his PhD at Northeastern Univ. in Boston. His research focuses on robot perception, planning, and learning, while he has worked on more than six humanoid/animaloid robots. He has published more than 40 research articles in high-impact robotic journals and conferences, while he has won the Best Interactive Paper Award in IEEE Humanoids 2017 and Best Student Paper Award Finalist in IEEE ICARCV 2018. |

Prof. Weiwei Wan (co-I)Prof. Weiwei Wan (co-I) is associate professor working at the School of Engineering Science, Osaka University, Japan. He is running a lab together with Professor Kensuke Harada and Assistant Professor Keisuke Koyama. The website of their lab is https://www.roboticmanipulation.org. The name of the website shows our research topic – robotic manipulation. Prior to Osaka University, he was on a tenure-track position at the Manipulation Research Group, Intelligent System Research Institute, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) during 2015-2017. He was affiliated with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) from 2013 to 2015 and did his postdoc research at the Manipulation Lab in the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. He got his PhD in Robotics from the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo in 2013. He is an IEEE senior member, having affiliations with the IEEE Robotis and Automation Society, and the IEEE System, Man, and Cybernetics Society. He is also a member of RSJ (the Robotics Society of Japan). |

Luke BeddowLuke Beddow is currently studying towards an EPSRC DTP funded PhD at UCL in London, which started September 2020. His researched is concerned with robotics; specifically robotic manipulators and grippers with the aim towards handling of delicate items. He is supervised by Dr Dimitrios Kanoulas, and secondarily by Dr Helge Wurdemann. |

Zhengtao HuHu Zhengtao is currently a Ph.D candidate in the department of systems innovation of Osaka University, Japan. He received his master's and bachelor's degrees from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. And He also received a double master's degree from Tokushima University, Japan, in 2018. His research interests focus on robotic manipulation and mechanism design. |
